W.A.S.T.E. Walks 90-day Challenge

W.A.S.T.E. Walks are an event format (modeled after gemba walks and energy treasure hunts) that can reduce environmental impacts at your facility, engage employees, and save money!

A = Air emissions
S = Solid waste (trash/rubbish)
T = Toxins
E = Energy

Do you like the idea of the W.A.S.T.E. Walks, but haven’t tried to implement it yet?

Take the W.A.S.T.E. Walks 90-day Challenge!

We will provide you with email reminders, and you can track your progress using the checklist below. If you want to get a head start, feel free to jump into the checklist right now!

At the end of the 90 days, you will have a detailed list of 3 actions items that your team identified to pursue for implementation towards reducing the WASTE you selected. We will use the next 90 days to make sure those actions get implemented.

Time frame: The next challenge will start August 31, 2020. The action plan will be due within 60 days, with the last 30 days for implementation of ideas.

We will also be setting up virtual coaching sessions every other Friday during the challenge, where you can ask questions, and hear how others are progressing through the challenge. You will also get to know other like-minded practitioners trying to make a difference in the world!

Cost: There is no cost to join (FREE!), just a desire to try out the W.A.S.T.E. Walks approach. We will also be setting up some coaching calls, to help you when you’re stuck (dates/times based on attendee availability).
